Meet Rodney: founder and owner of Brick & Beam, and licensed inspector since 2015. Rodney has inspected over 2,300 local homes, and performed hundreds of Radon, Pest, and Water tests. Prior to founding Brick & Beam, Rodney had over 25 years of experience in construction and building maintenance. He has remodeled residential and commercial properties, and worked as lead carpenter and project manager at Grace College for 20 years. Over his career he has become a respected and accomplished woodworker, and has made fine furniture for patrons across Northeast Indiana; including churches, hospitals, libraries, and museums. His knowledge and expertise quickly made him stand out in the real estate market, and helped propel Brick & Beam to the forefront of trusted local inspection companies. In his free time he enjoys woodworking, all things outdoors, and is an avid sportsman. He and his lovely wife Lisa have enjoyed 35 years of marriage together, and have 5 children and 8 grandchildren.

Meet Jacob: co-owner of Brick & Beam, and licensed inspector since 2018. Jacob has inspected over 1,300 local homes, and performed hundreds of Radon, Pest, and Water tests. He has a strong background in quality control, and worked for 6 years as manager of an industrial painting company prior to becoming an inspector. In that managerial role, he learned the finer art of customer relations, and applies those skills with each and every one of his clients. In his free time, he has remodeled 3 of his personal residences, and enjoys studying classical architecture to help in the design of his home. His attention to detail and willingness to tackle new projects has helped him craft a vast knowledge of all things mechanical and practical. Jacob's greatest joys are Arboriculture, Architecture, and Family. He has been married to his lovely wife Kendra since 2018, and they welcomed their son Elijah to the family in 2023.
